The Playground @ NF

The Playground at NorthField is a fully accessible playground designed to accommodate children (and children at heart!) of all ability levels. The playground is open to families from the community and will be accessible from 9am to dusk each day. We welcome you to come enjoy this new facility with your loved ones!

The playground at NorthField is open every day from dawn to dusk.

The Playground at NorthField is an inclusive playground that is intentionally designed so that children of all ages and abilities can play, be challenged, and have fun together. It goes beyond basic wheelchair accessibility and ensures that all kids have an inviting and enjoyable playground experience. The playground includes multi-sensory play experiences, equipment for children in multiple age groups, and accessible equipment for children to enjoy together, regardless of ability level.

There are two accessible, unisex restrooms at the Playground. Each restroom comes fully equipped with a changing table. One restroom stall comes equipped with a changing table suitable for older children and adults with special needs.

There are designated table areas in the shade for you to enjoy food at the playground. We ask that everyone keep food in the designated table areas while enjoying the Playground at NorthField.

Pickle Ball Courts

Court use will be first-come, first-serve unless otherwise designated for a special program, activity, or event.

During peak time when courts are full and players are waiting to play:

  • Court time will be shared equally
  • No singles
  • Waiting players will place their paddle in the "paddle saddle"
  • Please remain in the spectator area while you are waiting your turn
  • Court time limited to two games to 11, win by 1
  • Exit court immediately, return to waiting area outside courts
  • To play again, place your paddle in first available opening in "paddle saddle"
  • Next up when court is open
  • Less than 4 players waiting, the suitable number of players will stay on the court to fill the court with 4 players
